赤盤（The Beatles 1962-1966）
73年に発売された唯一の公式ベストアルバム。同時発売されたそのアルバムは「赤盤」「青盤」と呼ばれている。
そのうちのこちら「赤盤」は62年〜66年までのアイドルと言われライブの盛んだったころの26曲を収録。収録曲にはカバー曲は含まれていない。そして選曲にあたったジョージは、当時自分の楽曲を発表しているが自分の曲は選曲していない。
